Mr. Chick 

Mr. Chick celebrates 38 years in Business in Cairo, GA.  According to the readers of the Messenger, Mr. Chick was voted the Best Steak dinner (Braveheart), Best Fried Chicken, and Best Wings again. Mr. Chick is owned and operated by Wayne Hadden, Rosa Ann Hadden, and Jason Lynn. They have a total of 45 employees that serve outstanding meals with smiling faces. The popular local restaurant opened its doors on Feb. 16th, 1972. The owners said that what makes their Steak, Fried Chicken, and Wings the best is the pride the employees take in their work in every step of the food service process; from the quality of the ingredients, to taking the order, to the preparation of the food, to serving it to the customer. We want our customers to experience to be one that will bring them back time and time again. The owners note that generations of families have grown up eating Mr. Chick and they take pride in that.

If you are ever in the South Georgia area on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night you need to go by Mr. Chick and try the aged and hand cut Braveheart Premium Black Angus steaks that Jason cooks to perfection. Any other time you need to get some of their hand breaded tenders with Jason sauce on the side. Wayne has a collection of 30-40 completely restored antique/classic cars in a large building behind the restaurant and gives guided tours to all that are interested.  It doesn’t matter if you came for the food, the car collection, or the unique antique Roddenberry signs and automobile decorations - the truth is you will be back for the food and the service.
