New State of Virginia Food Code Requirements as of July 1, 2013 (Grace Period – 18 months):

“The permit holder shall be the person in charge (PIC) or shall designate a PIC and shall ensure that a PIC is present at the food establishment during all hours of the operation. The PIC may demonstrate knowledge by passing an accredited program and being a Certified ServSafe™ Food Protection Manager.”

  • All Courses include textbook, professional trainer, exam, and lunch.
  • The course starts at 9:00 am and finishes by 5:00 pm with the exam.
  • Registration Fee: $125 - $140 for PFG Customers.
  • Please register at least two weeks prior to class being held. Fee is NONREFUNDABLE if canceled within 7 days of the class.
