No Cook Tomato Basil Sauce

 

Ingredients

1 #10 can Piancone California Plum Tomatoes 9105051

 

1 #10 can Luigi All in One Ground Tomatoes 9106031

 

2 cups Piancone Extra Virgin Olive Oil 9177011

 

1½ cups Peeled Garlic Cloves, sliced lengthwise

 

4 oz. West Creek Fresh Basil, chopped  855502

 

5 tsp Kosher Salt

 

1½ tsp Black Ground Pepper

 

Instructions

1. Coarsely crush plum tomatoes.

 

2. Add ground tomatoes to crushed plum tomatoes.

 

3. Poach garlic in olive oil until light golden in color.

 

4. Add chopped basil to garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

 

5. Add garlic basil olive oil mixture to tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and mix until combined.
