As National Sales Manager for the Southwest, he helps Hispanic and Latin-inspired restaurants thrive by offering solutions that balance efficiency with authenticity. Ramon started his career as a Center of the Plate Buyer and later became a Center of the Plate Specialist, where he found his passion for working directly with operators. That hands-on approach eventually led him to Contigo®, where he’s spent the past three years helping customers build menus filled with culture.

“Growing up, I had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact food has on culture during visits to my family in Mexico,” he says. “Food has a unique power to bring friends and family together while preserving and passing down tradition.”

When working with operators, Ramon takes a thoughtful, tailored approach. “I begin by asking questions about their current products, menu, and any challenges they may be facing with sourcing. This helps me understand their needs and challenges. From there, I focus on introducing our products and highlighting the unique value and quality that set us apart from the competition.”
