The Performance Foodservice–Middendorf team recently participated in a fundraising event for beloved customer and local restaurateur Rich LoRusso, who was recently diagnosed with ALS.

LoRusso, chef and owner of LoRusso’s Cucina in St. Louis, organized the fundraiser dubbed “For the Love of the Chef,” which helped raise money for him and his wife, Terri. The sold-out event was hosted at the Italia-America Bocce Club and featured local food, wine, silent auctions, raffles, and music.

Throughout the years, LoRusso has made a significant impact in his community. He has shown customers, friends, and family unending kindness and generosity, and Performance Foodservice is honored to serve customers like the LoRusso family.
