Apple and Orange Pork Chops


  1. Season pork chops lightly with salt and pepper.  Brown quickly in shortening. Pour from skillet all but 1 tbsp. of drippings.
  2. Sauté onion in the same pan. Combine all remaining ingredients except pork chops with the onion; mix well, then pour into a greased 2 qt. shallow casserole.
  3. Arrange chops on this mixture. Cover and bake at 350°F about 45 minutes.

  • 1/2 Cup(s) Magellan® Mandarin Oranges, (divided into sections)
  • 1/2 Cup(s) Peak Fresh Produce® Apple(s), Granny Smith, (peeled/chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup(s) Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), (chopped)
  • 1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/5 Cup(s) water
  • 32 oz. West Creek® Pork, Center Cut Chop(s), Frozen, (4 8oz pork chops,thawed)
  • 1/2 Cup(s) West Creek® Rice, (uncooked)
