Ascend® Blackberry Bourbon Sweet Tea


  1. Add blackberries, Ascend grenadine, sugar, mint to a bowl and macerate with a kitchen spoon.
  2. Bring 1 ½ quarts of cold water to a boil in sauté pan. Once the water reaches a boil remove from heat, add tea bags, and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and pour over blackberry mixture. Let cool at room temperature so flavors develop.
  3. Pour mixture through strainer into a pitcher and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  4. Add blackberry sweet tea to ice filled Tom Collin glasses, float 1 oz. bourbon of choice on top, garnish with mint sprigs


  • 4 cups blackberries
  • 2 oz Ascend® grenadine
  • 3/4 cup Silver Source® Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Mint, Chopped, + 8 Mint Spring for Garnish
  • 7 bags Guest House® black tea
  • 1 1/2 qt water, cold
