Crispy Buttermilk Fritters


  1. In a medium mixing bowl, sift together baking mix and baking powder.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine corn and egg. Combine egg and flour mixtures, stir gently.
  3. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Drop batter by the tablespoon into hot oil one layer at a time. Fry for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  4. Drain fritters on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve immediately with maple syrup or molasses.

  • 1-1/3 Cup(s) buttermilk baking mix
  • 1-1/2 Cup(s). maple syrup
  • 1 Cup(s) Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, melted, unsalted
  • 1 Nature's Best Dairy® Egg(s), beaten
  • 1 14.75 oz can West Creek® Corn, Cream-Style
