Double Bourbon NY Strip


  1. Place NY strip on the broiler. Quarter turn NY strip for diamond pattern grill marks. Flip NY strip and finish cooking to desired doneness.
  2. Place cream reduction in a hot sauté pan. When simmering add cheddar cheese and toss to melt cheese and combine with cream.
  3. Place broccoli in water to heat. Drain broccoli well and arrange at an angle on one end of a medium oval platter with stems down and crowns up.
  4. Pour cheddar cheese sauce over steamed broccoli. Place bourbon onion sauce at an angle on the other end of the platter. Place NY strip on the bourbon onion sauce.
  5. In a bowl add melted butter parmesan cheese and panko and mix thoroughly, put on a sheet tray and toast.
  6. Garnish broccoli with toasted crumbs and serve immediately with a steak knife


  • 2 oz bourbon onion sauce
  • 1 Braveheart® Black Angus Beef Steak(s), NY Strip
  • 2 oz cream reduction
  • 1 tsp Nature's Best Dairy® Butter
  • 2 oz panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Peak Fresh Produce® Broccoli, Floret(s)
  • 1 oz Roma® Cheese, Parmesan
  • 1 cup West Creek® Cheese Shredded, Cheddar
