Housemade Pickles


  1. Place vinegar, water, salt and sugar in a pot and bring to a boil, then turn off heat.
  2. Place one garlic clove and 2 teaspoons of pickling spice in each jar.
  3. Fill each jar with sliced cucumbers, then fill with hot pickling liquid and cover. Let cool, then refrigerate overnight.


  • 25-30 cucumber(s), pickling, sliced
  • 16 garlic, clove(s), whole, peeled
  • 1 cup Kosher salt
  • 1 gallon Piancone® Vinegar, White Balsamic
  • 2/3 cup pickling spices
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 gallon water
