Latin Citrus-Braised Short Ribs
Directions
- To prepare Latin citrus-braised short ribs, add vegetable oil to heavy-bottomed pot; heat until oil begins to smoke. Sear short ribs until dark golden brown on all sides.
- Remove short ribs from pot; add Custom Culinary® Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce and water or stock to deglaze. When bottom of pot is clean, add short ribs back into pot and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low; cover pot tightly with lid or aluminum foil. Cook 2 to 3 hours or until short ribs are tender.
- Once tender, cool in cooking liquid

- 1 qt water, or beef stock
