Pickled Cherries


  1. Prepare jars and lids. Combine vinegar, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Add cherries and cook for five minutes until cherries soften slightly.
  2. Transfer cherries to the jars and top with the strained vinegar mixture. Continue the canning process if you are preserving the cherries. Otherwise, refrigerate at least overnight before serving.


  • 1 lb. cherries, fresh, pitted and stemmed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup West Creek® Sugar, Brown
  • 1 cup West Creek® Vinegar, Apple Cider
