Sausage & Peppers Grilled Cheese


  1. Begin with spreading the butter on one side of the sliced bread and then press the parmesan into the butter side of the bread.
  2. Place this cheese and butter side down onto a low heat skillet to melt and caramelize. Then place remaining cheese slices on each side of toasting bread.
  3. In a separate sauté pan re-therm the sausage and roasted pepper until hot. Place onto the open cheese side of toasting bread until cheese melts and fold both melty cheese sides of bread together and serve.


  • 1 oz Roma® Italian Sausage, Sweet Mild, Coarse-Ground
  • 1 oz roasted red pepper
  • 1 oz butter, spread on bread
  • 1 oz cheese, Parmesan , shredded
  • 1 oz cheese slice(s), Muenster
  • 1 oz cheese, provolone, sliced
  • 1 oz aged white cheddar cheese, sliced
