Using a wand blender, blend together ice cream, 1 quart eggnog, rye, rum and brandy. Blend until liquefied.
Add the rest of eggnog and nutmeg, then blend thoroughly again.
Pour into a large-mouth sealable plastic container and place in freezer. Shake occasionally to ensure ingredients do not separate before freezer. Thaw slightly before serving.
