Buttermilk Plum Cobbler
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Butter a deep 9" x 7" ovenproof dish.
- Wash, pit, and cut each plum into 8 pieces. Toss plums with brown sugar and spread in pan.
- Dot with butter. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Stir in buttermilk. Drop by large spoonfuls over the hot plums.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until puffed and lightly browned.

- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup flour, all-purpose
- 7 Tbsp. Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, unsalted
- 3/4 cup Nature's Best Dairy® Buttermilk
- 12 plum(s), large ripe
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup West Creek® Lemon Juice
- 3/4 cup West Creek® Sugar, Brown
