Potato-Encrusted Hot Dog

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the hot water and the Honest Earth® Creamy Classic Mashed Potatoes until fully combined. Allow to refresh for 2 minutes. Hold for assembly.
  2. Heat the hot dogs and crush the corn chips.
  3. To assemble the hot dogs, be sure they are dry if you boiled them, take 3 ounces of the mashed potatoes and wrap around the hot dog to encase it.
  4. Roll the hot dog into the crushed corn chips and place on a parchment lined sheet pan, allowing space between the hot dogs.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.
  6. Serve with ketchup and mustard.

  • 1 cup mustard, yellow
  • 48 hot dogs, all-beef
  • 3 lbs. corn chips
