Salsa Verde Nachos

Directions

  1. In a skillet, warm BURKE® Cooked Sausage w/Salsa Verde-Style Seasonings until browned.
  2. Spread half of tortilla chips in a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with half of the sausage topping and half of the cheese.
  3. Layer the remaining tortilla chips, meat and cheese.
  4. Add queso, diced onion, tomato and Cotija cheese on top. Bake for 8-10 minutes (at 375 degrees fahrenheit) or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  5. Drizzle with avocado crema or hot sauce and serve with guacamole.

  • 1 12 oz. bag tortilla chips, crispy
  • 3 cups Jack cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup Queso
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tomato(es), diced
  • 1/4 cup cheese, cotija, crumbled
  • drizzle of avocado crema, (or hot sauce)
  • 1 cup guacamole, prepared
