Apple Strudel Dessert


  1. Drain the apples really well.
  2. Combine the apples with 1 lb. of crumbs, the raisins, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Let this rest for awhile; if it looks too wet add more crumbs.
  3. Roll the apple mixture in the puff pastry and seal the edges. Slit the dough in several places on top so steam can escape.
  4. Bake in a 400 F oven until golden brown. Slice and serve with powdered sugar. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
