Ascend® Pepper Jelly


  1. In a sauté pan over medium heat add butter, salt, black pepper, shishito peppers, and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Pour in white wine and simmer until reduce by a third.
  3. Now add orange juice and red pepper flakes then simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add half the sugar and parsley cook stirring until sugar in incorporated then add portion of sugar until mixture coats the back of a spoon.


  • 1 cup Ascend® Juice, Orange 100%
  • 1 tbsp Roma® Crushed Red Chili Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Peak Fresh Produce® Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup West Creek® Sugar, Granulated
  • 1 tsp Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, Unsalted
  • 2 tbsp shishito peppers, seeded and small diced
  • 1/2 tsp Peak Fresh Produce® Parsley, Fresh Italian Flat-Leaf, minced
