Birria Quiche

Directions

  1. Combine birria and smoked brisked and cook for 15-20 minutes. Cool and reserve.
  2. Place half the Birria and cheese in the pie shell.
  3. To make the custard, combine the eggs, milk and cream, and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add half the Birria and cheese and combine well.
  4. Pour the custard over the birria and cheese and bake at 350°F (180°C) until the custard is set and it reaches an internal temperature of 160°

  • 2 oz. Corazo® shredded cheese
  • 1 pt. Contigo® Birria Base
  • 4 ea. Nature's Best Dairy® Egg(s)
  • 1 pt. Nature's Best Dairy® Milk
  • 3 1/2 lbs. Ridgecrest® beef brisket
  • 4 fl. oz. Nature's Best Dairy® Cream, Heavy
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Magellan® Nutmeg, to taste
  • 1 ea. pie crust
