Classic Tomato and Basil Panini


  1. Liberally brush the one side of bread slices with Piancone® Olive Oil – brush the other side with ROMA® Classic Basil Pesto.
  2. Evenly arrange tomatoes, cheese and fresh basil on the pesto 1/2 of the bread slices, then top with remaining bread slices).
  3. Grill sandwiches, turning once (or using a Panini press), 4 minutes or until golden.
  4. Garnish, if desired, with additional basil.


  • 2 slices Heritage Ovens® Bread, Artisan, thick cut
  • Peak Fresh Produce® Basil
  • 2 Peak Fresh Produce® Tomato(es), thinly sliced
  • 12 oz Piancone® Cheese, thinly sliced
  • Piancone® Oil, Olive
  • 2 tbsp Roma® Pesto Basil Sauce
