            Cranberry Merlot Gastrique
            
                
                    Directions
                    
    - In a saucepan over medium high heat add oil. Next add onion, garlic, salt and pepper and cook for 1-2 minutes. 
 
    - Add merlot and reduce by half. 
 
    - Add cranberries, orange juice, sugar and basil and simmer for 10-15 minutes.  (Until cranberries skin starts to split.) 
 
    - Transfer mixture to food processor and puree. Strain and serve.

                                    - 1 1/2 tsp. garlic, clove(s), minced
 
                                    - 2 Tbsp. oil
 
                                    - 2 Cup(s) orange juice
 
                                    - 2 Tbsp. Peak Fresh Produce® Basil, minced
 
                                    - 1/4 Cup(s) Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), Red, diced
 
                                    - 1/8 tsp. salt
 
                                    - 1 Cup(s) sugar
 
                                    - 1 1/2 Cup(s) wine, merlot
