Island Mussels


  1. Mix the Key Lime, coconut milk, and heavy cream together and bring to a boil. Drop in the mussels to heat.
  2. Remove the mussels and let the liquid reduce by one third.
  3. Toss the mussels in the reduce liquid along with the cayenne, mangoes, and peppers.


  • 1 cup Ascend® Key Lime Margarita Mixer
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, ground
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 lb Empire's Treasure® Mussels
  • 3 oz mango(es), diced
  • 1 cup Nature's Best Dairy® Cream, Heavy
  • 1 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Pepper(s), Red, diced
