Korean Inspired Pub Fries

Directions

  1. In small saucepan, whisk together all beef sauce ingredients, except ground beef. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil and is thickened. Pour sauce over ground beef. Hold warm.
  2. Combine heated Extra Melt, Monterey Jack cheese and hot water. Heat to 165°F, whisking until smooth and combined. Stir in Gochuchang paste, garlic and cilantro. Hold warm.
  3. Place 6 ounces of hot cooked French fries on serving vessel. Top with a generous 1/2 cup (5 ounces) portion of meat and sauce. Top with 2 ounces of cheese sauce.
  4. Garnish top with desired amounts of kimchee, green onions, pickled red onions and cilantro.

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sugar, brown, firmly packed
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, fresh
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 lb French Fries, cooked, hot
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic, powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp ginger, ground
  • 3 tbsp Gochuchang pepper paste
  • 2 1/2 lb beef, ground, cooked, crumbled
  • Kimchee, green onion, pickled red onion, cilantro, chopped, for garnish
  • 6 oz LAND O LAKES® Feather Shredded Monterey Jack
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp
  • 4 oz soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Sriracha
  • 2 oz water, hot
  • 16 oz LAND O LAKES® Extra Melt® White Cheese Sauce, heated
