Loaded Latin Street Fries

Directions

  1. Cook fries in fryer until golden and crispy. Season lightly with salt if needed.
  2. Place fries in a tray or bowl, sprinkle with shredded cheese (or drizzle with warm cheddar sauce). Melt cheese using a broiler/salamander if needed.
  3. Drizzle True Foundations Tomatillo Serrano or True Foundations Latin-Style Citrus Chili Sauce over the top.
  4. Add pico de gallo and a zigzag of crema. Layer on optional toppings like avocado, jalapeños, cotija, or cilantro.
  5. Serve hot as a side or small entrée.

  • 5 to 6 oz. French Fries, cooked crisp
  • 2 tbsp. True Foundations® Tomatillo Serrano Sauce, (warmed)
  • 1/4 cup cheese shredded, cheddar, or queso blend (or 2 oz cheese sauce)
  • 2 tbsp. pico de gallo, (or diced tomato + onion + cilantro)
  • 1 tbsp. mexican crema, or thinned sour cream
  • 1 tbsp. jalapeño(s), sliced (fresh or pickled) (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. avocado, diced (or guacamole) (optional)
  • 1 tsp. cilantro, fresh, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. cheese, cotija, crumbled (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chicken, grilled, or shredded beef birria (optional)
