Monte Cristo Sandwich
Directions
- Spread each side of the bread with butter. Arrange the turkey, ham and swiss on one side of the bread then cover with the other slice of bread.
- Beat the egg and milk to form a batter. Dip the sandwich in the egg batter and then allow the batter to soak into the bread for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Heat the deep fryer to 375 degrees. Using the swimming method, place the sandwich in the oil and cook until golden brown. Remove, drain and serve.
