Ridgecrest® Bacon Dog
Directions
- Soak the toothpicks in water for 30 minutes to one hour. This will stop them from catching on fire on the grill.
- Par cook the bacon about fifty percent of the way. Wrap the hot dog with the bacon and secure each end with toothpicks.
- Cook the bacon wrapped hot dog on the grill for 4-5 minutes until bacon is crispy.
- Whisk together chipotle peppers, mayonnaise, and lime juice then reserve.
- Place bacon dog on bun drizzle with chipotle sauce then top with sliced jalapenos. Take a fire bite.

- 1 ea. Heritage Ovens® hot dog bun, steamed
- 1 ea. Ridgecrest® hot dog
- 1 ea. Ridgecrest® Bacon, strip
- 2 ea. toothpick(s)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 ea. Peak Fresh Produce® Pepper(s), Jalapeño, sliced
- 1/4 cup West Creek Mayo
- 1 tbsp Contigo® chipotle peppers, pureed
- 1/2 tsp Ascend® Premium Lemon or Lime Juice
