Sesame Ahi Tuna with Marinated Slaw


  1. Cut Tuna into long square shaped tube.
  2. Coat Tuna with Sesame oil and roll in sesame seeds with sea salt added.
  3. Pan sear in very hot skillet on each side and set to side to cool.
  4. Julienne and colorful vegetables and marinate them in vinegar and soy sauce for 2 minutes.
  5. Slice Tuna into 1/8-inch-thick slices and display on tray.
  6. Remove slaw from marinate and place on tray.
  7. Drizzle marinated over slaw for sauce.


  • 1 lb Ahi Tuna, fresh
  • 1.5 cups colorful julienne vegetables
  • 1 oz rice wine vinegar
  • salt, sea, to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil, sesame
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds, mixed black and white seeds
  • 1 oz soy sauce
