Bacon and Maple Compound Butter
Directions
- Slice butter and place in mixer with paddle attachment.
- Add bacon, bacon fat, mint, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Combine on low speed.
- Use a spatula to scrape butter blend onto parchment paper. Then roll into a tube.
- Wrap this tube in plastic wrap then refrigerate or freeze for service. You would cut butter into disks for presentation.

- 1 lb Nature's Best Dairy® Butter, Unsalted, room temperature
- 2 tbsp West Creek® Bacon, rendered and filtered fat
- 1/3 cup West Creek® Bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Sage, chopped
- 1/8 tsp Magellan® sea salt
- 1/8 tsp Magellan® Black Pepper, ground
