Blackened Shrimp Tacos

Directions

  1. For Shrimp: Whisk together paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Sprinkle seasoning over shrimp and toss.
  3. Place oil on skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 3-5 minutes per side.
  4. To assemble: Combine slaw ingredients.
  5. Prepare Contigo Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce according to package directions.
  6. Layer shrimp, slaw, avocado and radishes on taco shells, topping with queso blanco cheese sauce.

  • 1/2 lb. shrimp, large
  • 2 tbsp. oil, olive, extra virgin
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic, powder
  • 2 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp. margarine , melted
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 bunch parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 3 Contigo® Tortilla(s), Flour
  • 1/2 cup radish(es)
  • 1 cup avocado, chunks
  • 1/3 cup Contigo® Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. lime juice, fresh squeezed
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, fresh, chopped
  • 8 cups green cabbage, sliced
