Heat a large sauté pan over medium high heat. Add the butter and let it melt until it is frothy.
Add the edamame and make sure it’s spread on the pan in a single layer. Let it sear for about a minute before flipping.
Flip the edamame and let sear again for another minute or two, until you see blistering on the outside.
Season with salt and pepper, flip to evenly coat, then turn off the heat.
Allow to cool in the pan for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a container, cover, label, and date.

West Creek® kosher salt, to taste
Roma black pepper , to taste
