Coda® Spiced Café au Lait


  1. Make spiced honey mixture by combining honey, salt, cinnamon, black pepper, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves in a small saucepot over medium heat. Warm very gently just to incorporate spices evenly into honey.
  2. Cool honey mixture and pour back into honey bear.
  3. As needed, pour honey into bottom of large, wide coffee cup and top with steamed milk. Add hot brewed coffee to taste.
  4. **this is also delicious with a splash of dark rum, cinnamon whiskey, brandy, or orange liqueur.


  • 2 ea Guest House® 12 oz. Honey Bears
  • 1/2 tsp Morton® Kosher salt
  • 3 tsp Magellan® Cinnamon, ground
  • 1 1/2 tsp Magellan® Black Pepper, ground, very fine
  • 1/4 tsp Magellan® Nutmeg, ground
  • 1/8 tsp McCormick Culinary® Cloves, Ground
  • Coda® Notorius Dark Roast, brewed, as needed
  • steamed Nature's Best Dairy® Milk, Whole, as needed
