Contigo® Queso Three Ways

Directions

  1. Prepare tortilla chips
  2. Prepare queso varieties according to recipe instructions below.
  3. Arrange warm tortilla chips on a platter or in baskets. Serve alongside three bowls of queso: Elote, Traditional, and Chorizo.
  4. Garnish with fresh cilantro, jalapeños, or diced tomatoes for extra flair.

Ingredients

  • Contigo® Tortilla Chips
  • EZ-Melt Elote Queso, (see recipe below)
  • EZ-Melt Traditional Queso, (see recipe below)
  • EZ-Melt Chorizo Queso, (see recipe below)

EZ-Melt Elote Queso

Directions

  1. In a large sauce combine the milk and EZ Melt cheese. Allow to completely melt over a medium to medium-low flame.
  2. Once completely melted add in the elote dip and mix thoroughly.
  3. Hold hot for service or cool for storage.

Ingredients

  • (1) 5 lb. block Contigo® EZ Melt Cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups milk, whole
  • 3 cups Elote dip

EZ-Melt Traditional Queso

Directions

  1. In a large sauce combine the milk and EZ Melt cheese. Allow to completely melt over a medium to medium-low flame.
  2. Once completely melted add in the salsa and mix thoroughly.
  3. Hold hot for service or cool for storage.

  • (1) 5 lb. block Contigo® EZ Melt Cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups milk, whole
  • Contigo® Fire Roasted Salsa

EZ-Melt Chorizo Queso

Directions

  1. In a large sauce combine the milk and EZ Melt cheese. Allow to completely melt over a medium to medium-low flame.
  2. Once completely melted add in the Chorizo and mix thoroughly.
  3. Hold hot for service or cool for storage.

  • (1) 5 lb. block Contigo® EZ Melt Cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups milk, whole
  • 2 cups Contigo® Chorizo Sausage
