Penne Arrabbiata with Italian Sausage and Basil


  1. Precook pasta, shock and hold in refrigerator.
  2. Heat skillet with oil on stove, add garlic and red pepper flakes and let heat approx. 30 seconds.
  3. Add into skillet the sausage and pasta, toss until hot. Add in Marinara sauce and toss while heating sauce.
  4. Place into serving bowl or plate and garnish with fresh basil.


  • 1/8 tsp Roma® Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Assoluti® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 oz Ultimo® Supreme Marinara Sauce, Chunky
  • 3 oz Ultimo® Pork Italian topping
  • 1/3 tsp Peak Fresh Produce® Garlic, chopped
  • 3 1/2 oz Piancone® Pasta, Penne, cooked
  • 3 leaves Peak Fresh Produce® Basil
