Sweet Corn Sauce


  1. In a 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, add olive oil, onions and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add corn, salt, pepper and basil to pan, continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add cream to pan, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and puree. Strain and reserve until needed.


  • 1/2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Basil, minced
  • 1/2 cup corn, kernels
  • 1/2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Garlic, Clove(s), minced
  • 1/2 cup Nature's Best Dairy® Cream, Heavy Whipping
  • 1/2 tbsp Piancone® Oil, Olive
  • 1 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Onion(s), diced, small
  • 1/2 tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 tsp salt
