Zesty Tomato Soup with Pesto Chicken


  1. Heat pasta sauce on stove in thick soup pot to simmer. While that’s heating up, toss the chicken and pesto together to coat the chicken.
  2. As pasta sauce gets to simmer, add in heavy cream and bring back to simmer. Fold in pesto chicken and let simmer for 10 minutes to heat chicken.
  3. Serve in crock or bowl and garnish with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.


  • 1 can Roma® pasta sauce
  • 4 cups Farm Smart® cooked diced chicken
  • 3 tbsp Roma® pesto sauce
  • 4 cups Nature's Best Dairy® Cream, Heavy Whipping
  • 1/2 tsp Magellan® Black Pepper, ground
  • pinch Roma® Cheese, Parmesan, shredded
  • 10 pc basil, leaves, fresh, for garnish
  • 1 tbsp Roma Garlic, chopped
