Nature’s Best Dairy® Basil and Garlic Compound Butter


  1. Heat oil in sauté pan over medium heat, add garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from pan and cool.
  2. Cut butter into large slices about ½-inch thick.  Add butter, garlic, salt, and pepper to a mixer with a paddle attachment. Run on low heat for 20-30 seconds then medium heat for 10-15 seconds.
  3. Fold in basil and then remove mixture onto parchment paper. Roll into a long tube about as thick as a sliver dollar.
  4. Place tube on plastic wrap and roll tight twisting ends. Refrigerate until service or freeze until needed. Cut into disks for service.

  • 1/2 cup Roma Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Roma® Oil, Olive
  • 1 1/2 cups Peak Fresh Produce® Basil, minced
  • 1 tsp Magellan® sea salt
  • 1 tsp Magellan® Black Pepper, ground
