Peak Fresh Produce® Honey Fire Carrots


  1. Bring one quart of water to a boil and blanch carrots for 30-45 seconds.
  2. Combine one quart of water and ice. Drop cooked carrots in ice water to stop cooking process.
  3. Whisk together honey, Gochujang, and cinnamon.
  4. Toss carrots in olive oil and salt. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place carrots on sheet pan and roast for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Toss carrots with spicy honey and serve.


  • 2 lbs Peak Fresh Produce® Carrot(s), peeled and sliced on a bias
  • 2 qt water
  • 3 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup West Creek® Honey
  • 1 tsp Gochujang
  • 2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Scallion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Roma® Cinnamon, Ground
  • 2 tbsp Roma® extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp Magellan® sea salt
