Spicy Sausage & Sweet Pepper Pizza
Directions
Top the crust with the red pepper sauce, red and green pepper strips, and spicy Italian sausage.
Place in a 500 F oven for 4-6 minutes until crispy.
Whisk together the juice from the lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper. Toss the Arugula, Kalamata Olives, and Basil in the lemon mixture.
Top the pizza with the salad. Spread shaved cheese over top.
Ingredients
1 ea. Ultimo® 14-inch Thin and Crispy Crust
6 oz. Luigi® Roasted Red Pepper Pizza Sauce, (see recipe below)
1 ea. Luigi® Spicy Italian Sausage Link, sliced
8 ea. Luigi® green and red pepper strips
8 ea. Luigi® Olives, Kalamata Style, Pitted , chopped
1 tbsp. Piancone® Oil, Olive, Extra Virgin
1/2 ea. Peak Fresh Produce® Lemon(s)
1/2 tsp. West Creek® kosher salt
1/4 tsp. Roma® Black Pepper, Ground
1 1/2 cup Peak Fresh Produce® Arugula
2 Peak Fresh Produce® Basil Leaves, julienned
1/2 cup Piancone® Shaved Caesar Cheese Blend
Luigi® Roasted Red Pepper Pizza Sauce
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender.
Blend until smooth.

1 tsp. West Creek® kosher salt
1/2 tsp. Roma® Black Pepper, Ground
