Honest Earth® Asian Fried Potato Shred

Directions

  1. Prepare the Honest Earth® Hash Browns by adding the sesame oil, soy sauce and oyster sauce to the hot water before adding to the carton (add more hot water if needed to reach the fill line). Allow the shreds to hydrate per package instructions. Once hydrated, allow any excess liquid to drain before stir-frying.
  2. Prepare the egg by scrambling it with vegetable oil. Set aside.
  3. On a hot flat top or griddle surface, add the vegetable oil. Sauté the onions, carrots, ginger, and garlic until aromatic and soft. Then, add the hydrated potatoes, bean sprouts, frozen peas, scrambled eggs, and green onions. Gently stir fry until fully heated to 160°F or above.

  • 1 1/2 cups oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup oil, sesame
  • 3/4 cup oil, vegetable
  • 1 qt egg(s), liquid
  • 3/4 cup oil, vegetable
  • 1 3/4 lbs. white onion, small dice
  • 1/2 cup garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ginger, minced
  • 2 1/2 lbs. Carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 lbs. bean sprouts
  • 2 cups green onions, chopped
  • 2 lbs. peas, green, thawed from frozen
