Allegiance Pork Loin Chop with Citrus Glaze

Directions

  1. In a sauté pan over medium-high heat, add oil.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper then add to pan and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Add bell peppers and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the orange juice with chili flakes and allow to reduce by half.
  5. Pour in cane syrup and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Remove chops from pan and plate. Drizzle with cane syrup, citrus reduction and bell peppers.

  • 1 cup cane syrup, (can substitute maple syrup)
  • 1/4 tsp. chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Peak Fresh Produce® Garlic, Clove(s), minced
  • 1/4 Peak Fresh Produce® Pepper(s), Orange Bell, julienned
  • 1/4 Peak Fresh Produce® Pepper(s), Red Bell, julienned
  • 1/4 Peak Fresh Produce® Pepper(s), Yellow Bell, julienned
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 Tbsp. Piancone® Oil, Olive
  • 1/2 tsp. salt, kosher
