Angry Edamame

Directions

  1. Bring the soda, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, Sriracha, green onion, ginger and garlic to a boil in 12-inch Saute pan. Boil for 1 minute.
  2. Carefully, add the Simple Goodness™ Whole Edamame to the pan and stir.
  3. Simmer about 5 minutes or until edamame are 165°F. Serve.

  • 40 oz Simplot Simple Goodness™: Whole Edamame 6/2.5lb
  • 2 tbsp garlic, clove(s), minced
  • 2 tbsp ginger, peeled, diced
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 16 fl oz Mountain Dew Soda, or citrus soft drink
  • 4 fl oz soy sauce
  • 2 fl oz Sriracha
  • 4 fl oz sweet chili sauce
