BBQ Brisket Bowl

Directions

  1. Measure 1 gallon of hot, not boiling, water into a large bowl.
  2. Add entire pouch of potatoes all at once, using a wire whip to distribute evenly and wet all potatoes. Letstand 1 minute until the potatoes are fully hydrated.
  3. Place the mashed potatoes into a bowl and top with the prepared Ridgecrest® Pit Smoked Beef Brisket, corn, pickled onion, and jalapeño garnish. Serve the sauce on the side or top of the dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch Idahoan® RUSTIC Baby Reds® Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 gallon water, hot , (Water should be 190-200°F)
  • 1 qrt. barbecue sauce
  • 7 lbs. Ridgecrest® Pit-Smoked Beef Brisket
  • 4 lbs. Santa Fe corn, sautéed (Whole kernel corn with onion and peppers diced)
  • (1) 1/2 lbs. onions, red, pickled
  • 5 ea. Chile pepper, Jalapeño, (sliced for garnish)
