Chorizo & Cilantro Cornbread Waffles
Directions
- In large bowl, stir cornmeal, buttermilk, butter, cilantro, sugar, chiles, and Chorizo Topping together.
- Heat waffle iron. Spray with oil and then spoon cornmeal mixture, about ½ cup, into waffle iron and cook about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve topped with salsa, sour cream, and jalapeño

- 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cilantro, fresh, chopped
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup chile(s), chopped green canned
- 8 oz Burke® Chorizo Pork Topping
- salsa
- sour cream
- 1 jalapeño(s), sliced
