Kiwi Tri Tip Steak

Directions

  1. Scoop out the insides of the kiwis into a bowl. Use your hands (or a blender) to mash up the kiwi. Add all the other ingredients in the bowl with the kiwi and mix well.
  2. Place the steak and marinade into a plastic bag or a dish covered with plastic wrap to marinate. Place the steak in the fridge for 3-5 hours.
  3. Remove the steak from the marinade and use a cloth to gently dab off any pieces of kiwi. If you end up wiping off too much of the juices, and it looks a little dry, add a bit of extra oil to the outside of the steak to prevent it from sticking to the grill.
  4. Heat the grill over high heat, or until the temp is sitting around 400°. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove the steak from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice it thinly against the grain (for optimal tenderness!).

  • 1/2 tbsp lime, juice
  • 1 tbsp oil, olive
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper, each
  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 lb Braveheart® Tri Tip
