Sesame Wasabi Fried Shrimp
Directions
- Prepare pancake batter according to package
directions.
- Whisk in wasabi sauce, sesame oil, and sesame
seeds.
- Let batter rest for 15 minutes.
- Peel and devein shrimp, leaving end of tail on for
presentation.
- Dredge shrimp in flour and then dip in batter, up
to the tails. Drain off excess batter.
- Deep fry at 365˚F for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve with an Asian dipping sauce.

- 2 cups West Creek® Flour
- 1 bag Heritage Ovens® Buttermilk Pancake Mix
- 5 tbsp oil, sesame
- 2/3 cup sesame seeds
- 5 lb Bay Winds® Shrimp
- 5 tbsp wasabi sauce
