Sweet and Spicy BBQ Shrimp

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients, mix well.
  2. Thread shrimp and chicken onto separate skewers, brush both liberally with sauce.
  3. Arrange skewers on grill rack, 8-10 inches above medium-hot coals - ash grey and glowing. Grill chicken for 7-9 minutes, turning and basting frequently with sauce. Grill shrimp 4-6 minutes, turning and basting frequently with sauce.
  4. In a small heavy saucepan, heat remaining sauce to serve with chicken and shrimp.

  • 1/2 cup West Creek Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • 8 oz chicken breasts, boneless, cut into 1 inch portions
  • 2 tsp Sauer Brandsâ„  Dried Chopped Chives
  • 1/2 cup preserves, peach
  • 8 oz shrimp, (40-50 count) shells removed, tails intact
  • 1/2 tsp tarragon, leaves
