Piancone® Pie
About this Recipe
All-natural beef meatballs with flavors that will make you think of your Italian grandmother. Even if you are not Italian. Paired with hand pulled creamy mozzarella cheese, crushed tomatoes, fresh basil and oregano, gives you a new go to pie. All of this on a crispy thin crust, one word, heaven.
Piancone® Pie
Directions
- Heat your oven.
- Whisk together tomatoes, basil and oregano.
- Place crust on pizza screens, brush with olive oil and season with salt. Now ladle on tomato sauce and top with some of the cheese.
- Arrange meatball halves then top with remaining cheese and bake.
- When crust is golden remove to cutting surface, slice and serve.

- 2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Basil, chopped
- 2 cup Bacio® Cheese, Mozzarella, shredded
- 12 in Ultimo!® Thin Square Par Baked Crust
- 10 Piancone® 1 oz Natural Beef Meatballs, cut in half
- 1/2 cup Piancone® Oil, Olive, Extra Virgin
- 2 tbsp Peak Fresh Produce® Oregano, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cup Luigi® Crushed Tomatoes
